Martin Prest

Martin’s recently played Orson Welles in Orson Welles: The Night We Scared America (Out of Kontrol Productions). This was a special stage dramatisation of the 1938 radio play The War of the Worlds and the repercussions of the performance, which famously caused panic (and even suicide) in North America.

Other credits include A Christmas Carol, a one-man show he tours every December; Corvino, Volpone (Scena Mundi); Mortimer, Edward II (Scena Mundi); Uncle, The Turn of the Screw (UK Tour); Duke of Cornwall, King Lear (Rose Playhouse); Raymond, in the new musical, Lonely Hearts (Between the Bars); Henry Bolingbroke, Richard II (Malachite Theatre); Lord Windermere, Lady Windermere’s Fan (UK Tour); Mad Hatter, Finding Alice (UK Tour).

Also a writer, Martin’s published work includes A Christmas Carol in 60 minutes or Less! (Lazy Bee Scripts). He is also the Artistic Director of That’s My Cue Productions.
